James Corl has supported gutting funding for police and firefighters. Corl has proposed sweeping budget cuts that would defund local law enforcement offices.
James Corl spent years working for one of Albany's most extreme anti-abortion Republicans. While Corl was Legislative Director for Sen. Walczyk, Walczyk voted against the constitutional amendment protecting abortion rights — which New York voters overwhelmingly passed — and voted to allow out-of-state anti-abortion prosecutors to criminally prosecute abortion providers in New York.
James Corl has supported gutting funding for veterans, police, and seniors' benefits. Corl has proposed sweeping budget cuts that would defund local law enforcement offices, schools, Meals on Wheels for Syracuse seniors, and grants for Holocaust survivors.

Republican Mike Bolles
Mike Bolles has aligned himself with MAGA extremists in New York who want to ban abortion, eliminate the Department of Education, and support Trump’s ICE crackdown. His largest donor contributed to the same MAGA Republicans who helped Trump slash Medicaid while cutting taxes for the rich. Bolles is too extreme for the Southern Tier.
Mike Bolles is a loyal supporter of Donald Trump, has donated to Trump’s campaigns, and his own campaign is funded by MAGA Republican donors who helped elect Trump. Bolles had a Trump flag on his office wall as recently as January 2026, as Trump was slashing healthcare for millions of Americans, tearing services away from the Southern Tier while driving up the price of gas and groceries.

Senator Monica Martinez (SD-04)
Senator Monica Martinez, born in El Salvador and raised in Suffolk County, is a State Senator. A former teacher and school administrator, Martinez understands the importance of strong schools and safe communities. She's secured gang violence prevention funding to keep our communities safe, and has fought to fully fund our schools. She's also voted 178 times against increasing taxes, and she has worked to cap property taxes, expand the child tax credit, and take on utility price gouging.

Brianne Wakefield holds extreme anti-abortion positions. She called New York’s abortion protections “pure evil,” celebrated a Trump administration move that forced the closure of Planned Parenthood locations across the country, and vowed to defund Planned Parenthood in New York. Wakefield also wants to change New York law so that out-of-state antiabortion prosecutors can criminally prosecute nurses and doctors for performing abortions in New York under other states’ anti-abortion laws.

Senator James Skoufis
When developers tried to railroad communities in the Hudson Valley, James Skoufis fought back. He authored legislation to update the state’s outdated laws that have allowed communities to be taken hostage by hostile developers. He also authored and passed legislation to unmask shady real estate LLCs and successfully enacted a law that requires additional oversight of all public water wells.
James Skoufis believes powerful corporations shouldn't get special treatment at working families' expense. When giant corporations sought millions of dollars in tax breaks, at taxpayers' expense, James stood up and told them to pay their fair share. In Albany, he's worked to better protect taxpayers when corporations seek publicly funded incentives, including prohibiting elected officials from serving on the boards that hand out incentives.
James Skoufis is the product of excellent public schools and says every child deserves the same. He led the successful fight to deliver universal full-day kindergarten in New York State, including securing the funding necessary for both the North Rockland and Washingtonville School Districts to fully transition to full-day programs. He also championed universal pre-K in the Hudson Valley, securing 1,000 first-ever seats in his district.

She's also worked to increase access to healthy food and make school lunches free for New York's students, protect our fresh water resources and the finger lakes, while protecting reproductive rights and strengthening our democracy.

She championed universal school meals, expanded universal pre-K to ensure all kids start school ready to learn, and secured funding for the Syracuse STEAM School, a county-wide school focused on science, technology, engineering, arts, and math.
Rachel May strongly opposes Trump's brutal policies towards immigrants and citizens alike and is working to provide legal aid to immigrants when Washington Republicans infringe on their rights. She's also been a leader in protecting reproductive rights in New York, including shielding abortion providers in New York from criminal charges in anti-abortion states.
